OneSMP Rules
OneSMP’s rules are not here to police creativity. They exist to protect the kind of community we are building.
We want players who want structure, fairness, and respect. These rules help keep out people who clearly do not want to be here, and they give us a transparent standard when behavior crosses the line. The goal is simple: keep things fair so we can focus on building, exploring, and having fun together.
OneSMP is designed for a mature audience. All players are expected to behave respectfully, use appropriate language, and contribute positively to the community.
OneSMP is an 18+ English-speaking community for both Discord and Minecraft. Respect and common sense apply everywhere in our community.
In-Game Rules
1. Play Fair
We all work hard for what we achieve here. Cheating undermines everyone’s accomplishments. Play fair so that every milestone on OneSMP is something we can all be proud of.
- No hacked clients, dupes, x-ray, exploits, or tools that give an unfair advantage or harm the server or players.
- No alternate accounts to gain unfair advantage or bypass punishment.
- Punishments apply to the account regardless of who was using it.
- Exploiting plugin features is prohibited.
2. Be Respectful
Keep the community friendly and welcoming. Prevent harassment, slurs, and toxic behavior.
- No slurs, harassment, targeted attacks, baiting, drama, spam, or behavior that worsens the experience for others.
- Freedom of speech matters, but so does keeping things respectful and fun. If it feels like it should not be said, do not say it.
- Filtered words are prohibited, including attempts to evade the filter by altering spelling or symbols.
- Keep public chat clear. Take personal or exclusive conversations to DMs or party chat when asked by staff.
- No discrimination based on traits like race, gender, or religion.
- Profanity is allowed within reason. Sensitive topics such as politics and religion are fine while respectful. Staff may end discussions that create tension.
3. Looting, Raiding, and Claims
We allow fair looting of truly abandoned, unclaimed builds while protecting active players’ work.
- You may loot from an unclaimed structure if it is clearly abandoned.
- Check for claims on all corners of a structure before looting.
- Do not damage or tear down structures unless they are truly abandoned.
- If it looks active, leave it alone. Malicious looting of active bases may be punished.
- Do not destroy public infrastructure such as railroads, highways, and nether hubs. Ask owners or staff to claim it if protection is needed.
- Be respectful with claims. Do not sprawl, claim over others, or crowd builds. Keep a fair buffer.
4. Keep the Server Running Smoothly
Limit lag-heavy builds and farms to keep gameplay stable for everyone.
- No lag machines or excessive redstone or farm lag. Staff may ask you to modify or remove builds that impact performance. Intentional lag creation is punishable.
5. Disputes and Final Authority
Staff may act on situations not directly covered by the rules if they harm the server or community.
- Staff have the final say. Not every situation can be covered by a rule, and we may act if something is harmful.
- Disputes about punishments or rules must be handled privately with staff. If you suspect abuse of power, contact an Admin or EliteNK who is not involved.
Discord Community Rules
1. Follow Discord’s Rules
All members must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
2. Keep It Safe for Everyone
No NSFW or gore. Avoid explicit, gory, or intentionally offensive visuals.
3. Report Problems, Do Not Start Them
Bring harassment, rule-breaking, or concerning behavior directly to staff.
- Do not handle conflicts yourself. Report privately to a moderator or admin.
- We can only help with issues we know about. Reports are handled discreetly.
4. Respect Voice and Text Channels
Keep channels comfortable and inclusive. Avoid loud noises, spam, or posting music or content without consent.
5. Do Not Share Suspicious Links or Files
Unverified links, downloads, and executables can be harmful. No phishing, grabify, or similar links.

Staying Informed
To keep OneSMP fun, fair, and safe, all players are expected to read and understand the server rules. These guidelines shape the community we build together. Rules may be updated over time, so check in periodically. Not reading or misunderstanding the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.
If you are unsure about something or if a rule feels unclear, ask staff for clarification before acting. By playing on the server and participating in our Discord, you agree to follow both the letter and the spirit of these rules.
Need help? DM a member of Staff to raise concerns or ask questions.
Thanks for being part of our community. Play fair, have fun, and be someone others look forward to playing with.
